Egert Milder is an Estonian singer-songwriter whose soulful indie sounds are deeply infused by his travels across the world reflecting inspiration from the secret islands and surftown in the Philippines and Nicaragua to the Caucasian mountains of Georgia.

Milder’s solo path began with an adventure in 2018 with a one day tour across Europe. During 24 hours he debuted his first single “Live+Love+Grow” in four different countries while travelling home through Georgia, Turkey and Belarus. Back in Estonia the song’s mellow mood and warm acoustic vibe quickly proved to be irresistible on the local scene and it was chosen to be in the top 10 Hits of the Year by Raadio 2, Estonian Broadcasting Radio.

Milder’s wanderlust continues to shine through in his second single “U”. The fresh indie folk tune is a thrilling trip through his memories from New York, Berlin and Paris. The release was followed by a music video which is a visual feast filmed in Colombia. Like the successful debut, “U” was also well received by fans and critics alike, becoming the most played song in Raadio 2 following its release.

In 2020 Milder released his third single "Georgia (On My Mind), which was inspired by the 3 years he lived in Tbilisi. Milder competed in Estonia’s national selection for Eurovision Song Contest "Eesti Laul" with the song and received 4th place in the finals. The single was the first to receive wider international attention and found new fans all over Europe. Milder appeared in numerous Georgian morning TV shows and Georgian radio shows promoting the song.

Following the feel-good energy of his last release, “Your Green Is Better” playfully tells a story about how people often say how grass always seems to be greener on the other side, but what an amazing realisation it is to acknowledge that your absolute favourite kind of green is right beside you.

Milder's latest single "Free Again" talks about this magical sense of freedom that we experience in our childhood and that we really never get back as adults. The song has an emotional and visually captivating music video that was filmed in a majestic old soviet state farm.

Prior to his solo journey, Milder was part of an alt-rock collective Slippery Slope. Throughout his career he has collaborated with different songwriters around the world and taken courses from Berklee College of Music. He has written outstanding material for local pop artists such as Liis Lemsalu and Kerli Kivilaan.

The sonic stories Milder has gathered along his travels have manifested into a hypnotizing indie folk sound that charms with its acoustic compositions and sparks the urge for an adventure with its spirit.
