Daniel Levi Releases a Laidback Summer Single "Nice Things"

Estonian pop artist Daniel Levi has just released his latest laid-back summer single, "Nice Things," accompanied by visuals from his recent two-month family vacation across Asia and Australia.

Daniel Levi, known for his vibrant soul, silky vocals, and infectious grooves, is a household name in Estonia and is gaining international attention. His breakthrough came with the smash hit "On & On," a collaboration with Estonian EDM stars CARTOON, which has garnered over 907 million plays on Spotify and YouTube, making it the most streamed Estonian song ever and recently achieving gold record status in the US. Levi’s dynamic presence has also been recognized with a nomination for Best Pop Artist at the Estonian Music Awards, and he has supported James Arthur on his Baltic tour, taking stage at Eurosonic Noorderslag and playing shows across eight different countries.

Levi’s new single, "Nice Things," carries a slightly ironic tone, reflecting on what we truly need in life. The accompanying music video ends with a thought-provoking question about the authenticity of what we see on social media. Levi shares his inspiration: "Traveling in Asia, I saw a stark contrast – tourists who seem to have everything yet find reasons to complain, and locals who appear to have very little but are incredibly kind and warm. In Western culture, we’re caught in a consumption cycle, always wanting more to feel satisfied. This song provokes and parodies that mindset a bit."

"Nice Things" was written in Stockholm with Swedish songwriter and producer Gustav Blomberg, known for his work with top artists like Benjamin Ingrosso. Levi describes the experience: "Working with Gustav was like watching your favorite TV series – so easy and comfortable!"

Last year, Levi released his first full-length album, "14/02" with a UK label NoCopyrightSounds and recently performed at the Eesti Laul final with his song "Over The Moon," which finished fourth. He has also recently announced his first concert in London, scheduled for October.
